When we first created our TENCEL™ Modal Camisole, we had one thing in mind — everyday comfort.
Something soft against the skin, easy to wear, and effortless to style. A piece you could reach for on slow mornings, busy afternoons, or simply whenever you wanted to feel comfortable.
We never set out to create activewear.
But recently, curiosity got the better of us.
A Little Experiment Beyond Everyday Wear
We've always loved how soft and comfortable our TENCEL™ Modal Camisole feels throughout the day.
So naturally, we started wondering how it would feel during something a little different.
Instead of our usual everyday activities, we decided to wear it during a Tabata workout.
Tabata certainly isn't what our camisole was designed for. It typically involves short bursts of high-intensity movement, making it quite different from the activities we'd normally associate with an everyday camisole.
We weren't trying to turn our camisole into activewear or test it against performance sportswear.
We were simply curious to experience a familiar piece in a different setting.
And sometimes, trying something outside its usual routine gives us a new appreciation for the things we wear every day.
It Starts With the Fabric
One of the reasons we love our TENCEL™ Modal Camisole is its fabric.
Made with a blend of 75% TENCEL™ Modal, 22% Nylon and 3% Elastane, it was carefully selected with everyday comfort in mind.
TENCEL™ Modal fibres are known for their softness and moisture absorption properties, while nylon contributes strength and durability. A touch of elastane adds stretch, allowing the fabric to move more comfortably with the body.
It's this combination that makes the camisole one of those pieces we naturally reach for throughout the day.
Not because it promises to do everything, but because it feels good to wear.
Comfort Looks Different for Everyone
Of course, we know that comfort is personal.
What feels comfortable for one person may not feel the same for another, especially when it comes to movement and support.
Our camisole features a built-in bra for everyday convenience, but it's important to remember that it wasn't designed to provide the same level of support as a dedicated sports bra.
For high-impact or more intensive workouts, we recommend choosing activewear designed specifically for those activities.
And while we've personally tried our camisole during a Tabata session, that doesn't necessarily mean it will be suitable for everyone or every type of workout.
It's simply an experience we wanted to share.
Beyond the Usual Routine
What we love most about everyday essentials is how easily they become part of our lives.
A camisole that feels just right under an oversized shirt. A comfortable piece to wear while working from home. Something simple to pair with jeans for a quick coffee run.
And perhaps, for some, a piece to wear during gentle stretching or other light activities, depending on individual comfort and support needs.
We believe versatility doesn't always mean a piece has to do everything.
Sometimes, it's simply about finding different ways to enjoy something you already love.

At Cloudé, our approach has always been about creating thoughtful essentials that feel comfortable and effortless to wear.
Our TENCEL™ Modal Camisole wasn't designed to be a workout top, and we're not trying to turn it into one.
But stepping outside our usual routine reminded us of something we love about creating everyday essentials and discovering the little ways they become part of our lives.
And sometimes, those discoveries happen when we least expect them.
